Da sie auch schon sehr viel gemacht hat, finde ich, dass sie ebenfalls einen eigenen Thread verdient hat. Bislang habe ich nur Secret Girl von ihr, fand ich aber sehr unterhaltsam und Tonari no Guardian werde ich bei Gelegenheit auch noch kaufen. Es ist auch schade, dass EMA keine weiteren Werke von ihr im neuen Programm hat, sie hat ja jetzt nicht so lange Serien gemacht und vor allem viele Einzelbände, die weder ein großes Risiko darstellen noch schwer in das Programm zu schieben sind.
Aber vielleicht im nächsten Programm. Gerade Gekka no Kimi interessiert mich noch am meisten, wenn es eine Serie sein soll. Ansonsten ihre neuesten Einzelbände.

Die Mangaka hat wirklich schon einiges gezeichnet. Sind doch recht viele Einzelbände und kurze Serien.

Ich würde mich auch sehr darüber freuen, wenn EMA weitere Serie von Ako Shimaki veröffentlicht. Hoffentlich ist im Herbst/Winterprogramm die eine oder andere Serie dabei.

Hab Tonari No Guaridan & Secret Girl von ihr gelesen und beide fand ich toll!
Bei Gelegenheit muss ich mir Secret Girl nachkaufen, da ich die Bände nur ausgeliehen habe ^^" Will sie unbedingt noch einmal lesen!
Mir gefallen sowohl ihre Geschichten als auch ihren tollen Zeichenstil ~

Ich hoffe auch, dass noch weitere Werke von ihr rauskommen werden (sind ja meistens nur Einzelbände ^^" )
Find es aber auch etwas Schade, dass sie nur "Kurzgeschichten" zeichnet und wünsche mir auch mal eine etwas längere Serien von ihr ~

Mich wundert es, dass sie noch keine Best Selection bekommen hat, immerhin hat sie viele Einzelkapitel, besonders die in Erotic Horror hat mir sehr gefallen. Wegen der konnte mich die eine Story in Scary Lessons nicht mehr überraschen.

Ich kenne von ihr nur Secret Girl.
Der Manga hat mir aber sehr gefallen. Leider hab ich ihn mir damals in der Bücherei ausgeliehen. Werd ihn mir aber irgendwann noch kaufen.
Tonari no Guardian interessiert mich auch.
Ich würde mich freuen, wenn im nächsten Programm wieder etwas von Ako Shimaki dabei ist.

Ich habe mir vor ein paar Tagen weitere Serien von Ako Shimaki im EMA-Forum gewünscht. Schaden kanns nicht. ^^

Stimmt....ich könnte mir von Ako Shimaki auch sehr gut eine "Best Selection" vorstellen, sogar mehr als eine.

Ein anderer Thread hat mich gerade daran erinnert, dass ich mir ansehen wollte, woran Ako Shimaki derzeit arbeitet. ^^

Von "Pin to Kona" sieht Band 1 so aus:

Ja, das Cover ist echt wunderschön.

Hier mal die englische Zusammenfassung:

In the world of Kabuki, where family social standings are highly valued, Kyonosuke is inept even though he is born as the son of a duke of a famous household. Ichiya while being born in a family that has no connection to Kabuki, is trying to move from the absolute lowest rank to the top using just his ability. Through some kind of karma, these two completely opposite boys have fallen in love with the same girl, Ayame.
That’s where the story begins. Kyonosuke, who wants to be liked by the Kabuki loving Ayame, cries tears of regret because he would throw away all his powerful connections if he could only have real ability. But what if Ichiya, who wants to be the center of Ayame’s attention, was adopted into a famous household…?

Ich hoffe auch, dass noch mehr Werke von ihr kommen. Aber ich sollte wohl erstmal die erhältlichen nachkaufen.

was ich sehr schade finde ist, dass EMA nach Tonari no Guardian nichts mehr von Shimaki veröffentlicht hat
das ärgert mich sehr, da von ihr bei uns grad mal 2 Serien rauskamen und von anderen mangaka in jedem programm was dabei ist (ich sage nur Tateno Überfluss)
ich hoffe ebenfalls, dass im nächsten programm wieder was dabei ist...und hoffentlich dann nicht nur ein armseliger einzelband

Ja...welcher wohl.


Mit dem Herbst/Winterprogramm 2010/2011 ist es schon das 3. Programm ohne eine weitere Ako Shimaki Serie. -_-
"Tonari no Guardian" ist im März + Mai 2009 erschienen.
Es gab keine Serie im Herbst/Winter 2009/2010, keine im Frühling/Sommer 2010 (also jetzt ) und für den Herbst/Winter 2010/2011 wurde auch keine angekündigt.


"Tonari no Guardian" Band 2 hat es im Mai 2009 nur auf Platz 14 der EMA-Charts geschafft....hm...nicht gerade berauschend.
